Fully Qualified and Insured Bicycle Repair and Servicing Workshop in Stansted Mountfitchet
It’s Time To Get Your Bike Ready For January 2024
Stansted Bicycles is a fully Insured and qualified bicycle engineering workshop for Essex and Hertfordshire.
Having used Lockdown to upgrade my bicycle repair skills, I purchased many old broken bike projects on eBay and restored them to their original glory before selling them on again. I have now opened this part-time business to those in the village looking to get their bikes back on the road.
Hence the new business, Stansted Bicycles Workshop, provides bike repairs and servicing for Stansted, Bishops Stortford and the surrounding villages.
If you are looking to get fitter for the summer and you have an old rusty bike in your garden shed then I can get it fully ridable again. Or I can take your bike, restore it and sell it on eBay, paying you back any profit from the sale. Surely, keeping it out of Landfill with new owners is the way forward.
Full Safety Checks & Servicing
I thoroughly clean and de-grease your bicycle then carry out a full audit of what work is required. Checking for any damage to the frame, worn tyres, loose wheel spokes, rusty brake cables, seized headset, bottom brackets, etc. This will provide a rough estimate of the cost of the parts.
On completion of any work I road test and add a new water carrier and bottle. Your bicycle will be like new again.
Please note that as this is a part-time business, I only work on bikes Wednesdays and Weekends so I’m limited to only taking on 12 bicycle projects each month.
Book your bicycle in for a service, expect it to take a week (or longer) if specialist parts need to be purchased.
